By booking a session through Devn, you (“Client”) agree to the following:

 

1. Independent Professionals

• All financial services are provided by independent, vetted Professionals (CPAs, planners, coaches, etc.).

• Devn is not a financial advisor, CPA firm, or fiduciary. Devn does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.

 

2. Responsibility

• The Professional you book is solely responsible for the advice and deliverables provided during your session.

• You remain responsible for your financial decisions and actions following the session.

 

3. Payments & Refunds

• All bookings must be paid in full through the Devn platform.

• Prices are shown before checkout.

• Except as required by law, bookings are non-refundable. Devn may issue credits or refunds at its discretion for cancellations, fraud, or service failure.

 

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Client cancellations: Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the session to avoid being charged in full.

• No-shows: Missing a booked session without notice will be charged in full.

• Professional cancellations: If a Professional cancels, Devn will help you reschedule or issue a credit/refund.

• Devn may adjust these rules for emergencies or extenuating circumstances.

 

5. Information & Documents

• You are responsible for providing accurate information and documents for your session.

• Uploaded documents may be automatically deleted after a set period (e.g., 7 days). Keep your own copies.

 

6. Confidentiality

• Professionals are required to keep your information confidential.

• Devn uses secure systems but cannot guarantee 100% protection from unauthorized access.

 

7. Code of Conduct

By using Devn, you agree to:

• Treat Professionals and other users with respect and professionalism.

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes related to financial services.

• Refrain from harassing, threatening, or abusing Professionals or staff.

• Avoid uploading offensive, fraudulent, or harmful content.

• Not bypass Devn by paying Professionals directly for services first arranged here.

Violations may result in cancellation of bookings, account suspension, or legal action.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

• Devn is not liable for any financial, tax, or legal outcomes resulting from your session.

• Devn’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid for the disputed session.

 

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Booking Agreement.
